I recommend you find the roll call section for Allure of the Seas and join the roll call for your cruise. With a larger group checking periodically, you're likely to know sooner. I believe from observation that about once a month somebody on/for Allure opens up reservation for the next 4 cruises. Allure of the Seas offers not just one but 3 arcades for kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy. One arcade is located by the Kids Club, one is on The Boardwalk and the largest one is found on Deck 15. Each arcade offers fun games such as skee ball, air hockey, video games and more. Of course, my boys (and husband) loved playing the claw games the MOST! LIVE SHIP TRACKING The menu above is specific to the Allure of the Seas ship J19T. Allure of the Seas is the second ship in the Oasis Class. It was constructed by MEYER TURKU in Finland and delivered to Royal Caribbean International in October 2010. The luxury liner is still considered one of the largest cruise ships in the world alongside its sister ship, Oasis of the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas were completed, they became the largest and most expensive cruise ships ever built, measuring around 360 metres in length, rising 16 decks into the skies and accommodating almost 6,300 passengers. Apart from their impressive size, the ocean liners also stood out with a huge selection of highlights, such as the Royal Promenade for expansive shopping experiences, an ice rink, three-dimensional climbing walls and a zip wire. They also feature the “Flowrider” surfing simulator and a water park designed in the style of a beach. The luxury liners in the Oasis Class also became the first ever cruise ships with an on-board carousel and park – the “Central Park” on the top deck even features real plants and Oasis Class was followed by the Quantum Class, which was constructed by MEYER WERFT in Papenburg from 2014 onwards. Always something to do if you want. Great staff and excellent customer service. Nice to be back cruising, but caught 20th, 2022Beautiful ship. Great, helpful and happy personnel work this ship. They were very excited to be back to cruising and it showed. Delicious food in all of the restaurants, great service with a smile. Only downfall, we came home infected with COVID. Don't understand how it happens when everyone has gotten on with negative test results. Wish Royal Caribbean had an answer to this problem. Traveler TypeFamily (older children)Pretty GoodJul 20th, 2022Very disappointed with the availability of the soda dispensers. Only one after hours. The rooms were way too small base on other cruises we took. No omelet station which was disappointing. No late hours eating areas...except for Pizza. The pools were too over crowded. The adult pool was way too small to accommodate the adults in that area. Drinks were way too expensive compared to other cruises. The service in all the areas was great! Getting off the ship was the easiest we have ever experienced. The dinners were the best I have ever had. Traveler TypeFamily (older children)Amazing Carribean CruiseJul 20th, 2022ALLURE OF THE SEAS is AWESOME!!! the Central Park and Boardwalk just makes it so different from others… make sure you watch the Centerpiece Band, the Watershow and ice show… everything was amazing! I was really excited about Aruba but loved Curaçao so much more! We had a blast! Great food, amazing service, very happy we took this cruise Jul 20th, 2022It was wonderful experience, all members of my family really enjoyed it. Even my 4 years old son who doesn’t like to go to the daycare really loved kids club and went there every day with pleasure. I was happy to see a smile on his face and a new piece of art he made there when I picked him up:). Traveler TypeFamily (young children)Allure of the Seas: Our first Royal Caribbean cruiseJul 17th, 2022This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise so it was a learning opportunity for us for the brand. The staff exceeded our expectations but the layout and constant noise in all the areas were the biggest disappointments. If you are looking for a relaxing cruise, this isn't it. Wonderful time Jul 16th, 2022Ship is just a bit dated but the staff make up for it. If a ship did not receive a CDC score within 22 months prior to the calculation of its Overall Rating, its Health Rating appears as N/A; in such a case, the ship’s Overall Rating is calculated using the average Health Rating of all CDC-rated ships within the cruise line. Now of course she is not and the sailing price is very high. My question regarding your thoughts, would you sail her or wait for the amp? Note, We have never sailed her before but the 7 day itinerary may be better spent elsewhere. I thank you for your input. It's our 29th wedding anniversary celebration sailing. We have been together for over 31 years and will be travelling with our soon to be 15 year old daughter. She came as a very delightful late in life surprise! Ah honey,we have a situation.....lol! As a matter of fact, I have 5 cruises booked on Allure between March and November 2021. Maybe she will get amplified during that time (doubtful) but it doesn't matter to me. I don't do water slides anyway and Playmakers is not a deal breaker to me.
 Report Share I would as well, as long as you're okay with some of those features not being there. As an example, if you have kids perhaps no water slides means you'd rather go on Harmony or Oasis? But the ship as-is is still a lot of fun. Guessing we're going to need a lot of sailing under our belts to generate the cash necessary to restart all the capital projects across the fleet. Maybe a 2+ year delay on all the improvements across the fleet?
 Report Share We are booked on Allure for March 2021 with our two kids (12 & 14). While we are all disappointed she didn't get amped, that still does not deter us from sailing her. I totally agree with @Matt on this one. If there are things like the waterslides or certain restaurants that you had your heart set on, then maybe pick something else. If not, she's still an Oasis class ship with all the standard features that make that class fantastic! Matt, Ogilthorpe, Neesa and 2 others
 Report Share I was on the Allure March TA which was supposed to be the last cruise before the amplification. She was in great shape, I never felt like there were signs she absolutely needed a refresh. I would sail her again tomorrow if they'd let me. While she doesn't have slides that also means that Boardwalk balconies still have a great view aft without the Abyss slides blocking their view. Still has a Sabor too. Yum. RWDW1204, Neesa and WAAAYTOOO
 Report Share Allure was our first Royal cruise with our kids (10 and 6 at the time) and we had the best time. Love the ship. I'll echo what others have said...if slides (water and non-water) are a requirement for you, then I would switch to another Oasis class. But otherwise, Allure is amazing from the neighborhoods, meal options, atmosphere, to the shows and activities and has the wow. Neesa and WAAAYTOOO
 Report Share Keep checking for price drops-with Sale with Confidence, you can reprice up until a few days before departure. If others feel like you do, you may some significant money. I am the opposite. I have a sailing on Allure booked for January 2022 and I am hoping she will not be amped by then. I want a chance to experience the original feel of an Oasis class ship. I also really want to try the Champagne bar-they seem to be disappearing across the fleet as ships are amped.
 Report Share I too am setting sail on the Allure in Oct. It is not a big deal to me that she did not get amped. Neesa and WAAAYTOOO
 Report Share I would never say no to an Oasis class, amped or not. Also, I like the boardwalk sight lines without the Abyss (not that fussed either way though), so Allure would be great as far as I'm concerned. Do you have to get off the ship and re-check in? Just curious. You can keep the same room if its available.. If not your cabin steward will move everything to your new room.. Yes.. Technically you have to disembark so they can get down to a zero count. When we did a B2B on Harmony, they led us off the ship.. through customs and back on.. There's always a meeting for consecutive cruisers where they let you know where and when to meet, if your getting off the ship for any reason. and the process for Re-boarding.. Honestly I wasn't impressed with how it was handled on Harmony. Guests were already getting on before we cleared customs.. Neesa
 Report Share 20 hours ago, PaulRC said: When you do a back to back cruise like that do you keep the same room? When you book a B2B cruise it is booked as two separate cruises that have no connection to each. The only way to get the same cabin is to book the same cabin for each sailing IF it is available for both. When you book far in advance there is a good chance you will get the same cabin. If you book close to sailing it's highly unlikely you'll get the same cabin. Sometimes I book one cruise in advance then at the last minute a few weeks before the cruise if the rates are good I'll book the next cruise. In that situation I have to move cabins. They will not ask other booked guests to move to accommodate a consecutive cruiser.
 2 months later...
 Report Share That is the usual terminal for the Oasis Class. There is an info board telling you what ship is where when you enter the port, just in case.
